Dear McManus and Emmett families,
I was very saddened to hear of Belinda's passing. I saw her many years ago on "Who Dares Wins" and thought "what a tough girl!". I think she bought that very same spirit to her cancer challenge. Her positive attitude, strength, courage and grace as well as her admitting that she had her share of "bad days" were and are inspiring. How lucky Belinda was to have a loving supportive family and wonderful husband. As a cancer survivor, I know how deeply important family and a loving, supporting and understanding spouse are. Unfortunately, my husband at the time all but abandoned me in my time of need. To Rove especially, you are indeed an inspiration and mirrored your wife in many ways. You were both so fortunate to have found that awe-inspiring love that eludes many of us. Much love and healing to you all.
Dear Rove and The Emmett Family,
I have had Belinda in my prayers for many years and I know without a doubt that the Angels have welcomed her with open arms. You might not be able to see her but never worry that she is not around you, because everytime you feel sad she is standing right there comforting you and loving you as much now as she did whilst here on Earth. What a beautiful Angel to be watching over us all!!
Our prayers are with you

God saw you growing tired,
The hill too steep to climb,
He gently closed your weary eyes,
And whispered “Peace be Thine”.
To Rove and the Emmett family,
I was so saddened to hear of Belinda’s passing. Although I do not know Belinda I could see that she was a beautiful person both inside and out. I have admired her strength and courage during her long battle and continued to include her as one of my most favourite celebrities. I am so pleased she found love and happiness with you Rove, I’m sure that the time she spent with you meant more than words can say. I read an interview in a magazine with Belinda and she said something that I intend to remember always – that growing old is a privilege, a gift and something to look forward to. So every time I look in the mirror each year I will search for those wrinkles and think of Belinda and how lucky I am to be growing older. May you all find the same strength and courage Belinda had during this time of great sadness – she will be greatly missed.

Your Angel has opened her wings
and flown off to a place of serenity
She was put to the ultimate test
Now it's time for her to rest
As her time on earth has past
Her memory will always last
Her ray of light will always be with you
Because the angel is what she truly is

Time will heal the hurt, Time can never take away the memories, Hold them
close to your heart. Belinda was an inspiration to all women suffering the cruel blows of breast cancer. So sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathy to your whole family.
To Rove, the Emmett and the McManus Families,
I was saddened to hear of Belinda's courageous fight ending yesterday. Her persona was one of beauty, courage and elegance...... Nothing I write will ease the pain and sadness from the sudden loss of your shining star.
My deepest condolences

Be at Peace Belinda.
“My tears are no longer shed in despair. I think of you with every beat of my heart, but I think of your life and the light shining from you; I dare not think of your death. The darkness of your last mournful breath should not shadow the brilliance of your beautiful life. I will not allow it. I will not darken your name, but shout it out loud. I will continue to shine your light to the far ends of our world so that everyone can see it, and they will know that you, with your beautiful soul, left my world a better place.
My grief is indeed remembered joy. It is the price of loving. You were my Sunshine; you warmed my heart and soul. I cannot look at your picture, hug your clothes, or sleep in your bed without remembering the joy you gave me.
If I shed a tear and remember joy, why would I want my tears to end? You are still giving to me. You are still teaching me. Your love is still within me. We have come full circle, my love. Through all things, and for all time, we are connected. You dwell within me and I am at peace.
In stillness and solitude, your light shines on and in me. Your Sunshine still warms my heart and soul, forever mine to hold.”
I hope that these words written by Susan Patterson in honour of her son who passed away bring comfort to you.
She also writes..."If grief is remembered joy, and my tears are proof of love, I will cry a river for you that runs to the sea and never ends."
Be safe Rove, Emmett and McManus families. May angels watch over you and all those that you love.
Dimos and Zoi
