From this site I learned about the death of Mr. Eddy Mirck. I am really, really sad, he was a good friend and during the last year, which was a hard time for me, he was my best friend. He listened to what I told him and answered in a way, that I always was happy after having had contact with him. I am in Germany, often we have had contact daily via internet. He told about his children so nicely. They have lost a wonderful father. My thoughts are with them. I will not forget my friend Eddy Mirck, he was very important for me, I liked him so much, his humour, his advice, his experience, his honest way of thinking. I tried to contact him to wish him for the New Year. I am too late for that now. He was a thorough gentleman. I knew he was not well. He used to talk to me about having blood transfusions etc. Last time I talked to him was when he moved to his new house. He loved his children & grand children. He used to talk about his grand son who lost his father & was growing up with his mother. He missed his son when he went to UK (as far as I can remember). I still can remember how happy he was when he talked about them. He helped me a lot showing me how to get help, where to go, what I should ask, etc. I learned so many things from him. I used to tell him he was like my own father.(He used to laugh when I said that) Giving me good advice and following it up later with me to check whether I have done as I have been told. When I was sad for some reason he used to cheer me up. I am sad that I can not see him any more, talk to him any more. But I am happy that he spent his life in a very useful manner till the end. May he attain supreme bliss of Nirvana
