To all Steve's family and friends,

Words can not express the sadness felt by most over these tragic events. We wish you all the best. Remember the good times and you know the joy he brought to people like myself and my daughter will last for many years to come. I am very sad at Steve's passing but I am glad I was lucky enough to have felt his passion.

God Bless

Best Wishes

Terri, Bindi and Bob,

Words could not describe the shock and sadness when I heard about the passing of your wonderful husband and father Steve. What a wonderful man he was! His efforts in creating a world where people have more respect for animals and conservation were just amazing. The zoo is an absolute joy to visit. The animals all look blissfully happy in their environment and that is due to the wonderful efforts of Steve and yourselves. I have no doubt that Bindi and Bob have inherited his vivacious personality and love of all things natural and that the zoo and the efforts for conserving the world’s environment will be continued on with Steve looking out from above. My daughter thinks he has gone to the animal heaven to look after all the animals there….I hope she is right .

You were all so blessed to have had Steve in your life. To have shared him, and the family, with the world was so generous. We have been blessed to have had such an Australian on the world stage. Wow what a larrikin!

The world is a better place for having had him in it…..and the legacy he has left will ensure it stays a better place!

For now please look after each other and make sure that YOU come first.

Best wishes

Danielle, Trevor, Hannah and Thomas

A human and great Aussie, who represented us all on the world's stage. We can not imagine him growing old, so maybe this was meant to be, but our hearts go out to his wife, his kids and his father who have lost such a strong and beautiful part of their lives. We also feel for Steve, who will never give his daughter away in marriage or see his son wrestle a croc, or his grandkids

To the Irwin Family, and friends at Australia Zoo,

I could not believe my ears when I heard the news bulletin saying that Steve was gone! I am still in shock that such a brilliant man is gone.

Steve was one of a KIND! My niece was blessed to have done work experience at Australia Zoo, (before Bindi was born). Steve was good enough to take my niece in, under his wing, and give her a go! & All she ever said about him was "How great a guy Steve is to work with - and Terri too!" Thank you!

I was also blessed to have met Steve and his family in person when I visited Australia Zoo many years ago. He definitely wasn't the average zoo keeper. But I think that is what made him so memorable. He blew me away with his croc feeding antics, and his passion for his animals. Also when he was filming in the wild, when he came across a snake, lizard, orang-utan or any other creature, he certainly made me laugh, and cringe more than once.

But his love of animals, and zest for life always shone through in every word he spoke, and every action he made.

I always watch him religiously every morning on Foxtel Digital's 'Animal Planet'. Even though I know he is gone... In my heart, Steve will always be remembered for the Millions of animals that are still alive today due to Steve's hard work, generosity and dedication! The way he went out of his way to save nuisance crocs, snakes, and other exotic creatures was truly amazing.

But even so, I don't think it is any consolation to Terri, Bob or Bindi to say "Oh, at least he died doing what he loved most!" I can not begin to imagine how Terri must feel, losing her soul mate the way she did. But rest assured, you were very blessed to have spent such an amazing life with Steve - and share 2 beautiful children. I am sorry Steve's life was cut so short! Bindi has grown in to such an amazing little lady & Bob an amazing lad. My heart goes out to all of you! I can not begin to express how sad we are by the loss of such an AMAZING man. God bless you ALL.

STEVE & TERRI RULE! YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING PEOPLE! +R.I.P. Steve!!!+ We love you!!! <3<3<3

The Irwin Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Those that watched Steve feel like we lost our own loved one. He was a brave man that showed his love for animals in ways no one else could. He showed that he loved his family with a passion, and I pray for you that you will find peace in keeping his legacy. He died a day before my beloved dog (Thor) who we had for over 12 years and 4 days prior to my birthday and I was overwhelmed with grief. I can only imagine your pain. But know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

God Bless, Denise USA - New Jersey

Dearest Bob, Terri, Bindi and Bob

My family and I visited the zoo in August. Amazing, just amazing. We are very sad that Steve is not with us anymore. He left a scar on all our hearts. Lets hope this world will listen now and make this planet a friendlier place to live on for all animals and humans. His death will not be in vain, there is a big message that has hit people since his passing. He will always be around you and the kids, he is your angel, him and his mum together again.

You will all, always be in our hearts.

Love the Helen, Nige, Joshy, Rohan and baby Zach Elliott (PERTH WA)

Dear Steve's family,

Me and my friend Bindi were so shocked when we heard the news about Steve we couldn't believe he was gone. To me and Belinda Steve was our hero, we looked up to him and we still do. We're so sorry for your loss, even at school our homeroom prayed for Steve and his family and friends. Although we never knew him we knew he was a great man and didn't deserve what he got. Our love goes out to you guys. God bless you.

To The Family Of Steve Irwin:

Many hearts have been saddened by the tragic loss of a man who included his family in his love for the adventures of wildlife. You have lost the man who brought to you your joy, and the world has lost the man who brought to us our love for nature. Words cannot heal the sorrow you are feeling, and many words you will see from all over the world. I can only hope that these words will console you in knowing that as much as you all loved Steve, the world in our own little way, loved him as well. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers as you learn to adjust to life without Steve. May God Bless you and keep you always.

Att: Mr. Bob Irwin, Mrs Terri Irwin ,children, and staff of Australia Zoo.

I am from Ontario, Canada, and have been an avid watcher of Mr. Irwins' programs. He has taught many people the value of all species, including us lowly humans the value of our enviroment and conserving that enviroment and it's inhabitants.

Please pass on my sympathies to all the family and staff. I am sure that Mr. Irwin will be missed as a vital and productive part of this world.

His family is in my family's heart and prayers. May God be with you all in your hour of need.

He was a great man that I admired and respected.

Sincerely,
Syndee, Ontario, Canada

I would like to say that Steve is a true Australian. I don’t like to think of him as in the past. His legacy will live on forever in our hearts and it tears us apart to think that he is gone. To Bindi, please continue to do what it is you do, you are the next Steve Irwin. To Robert, your father was the greatest Australian that we have ever known, be proud. To Terri, you are the luckist women I know and your strength will be forever in my heart. Please continue to keep open Australian zoo. Thank you for letting us know such a great man, it has torn us apart knowing such a great australian.

I just want to say to Steve's family that I send my best wishes and think of them through this troubled time. As a family we have been waiting to come to Queensland for some time to see all the sites (our kids have never left Victoria - they are 10 and 7) but also see Australia Zoo. Best wishes in the future......
Love Jan and family
